At what age could you leave a "minor" in a car?

i mean you wouldnt leave a toddler in the car during the summer with the ac on, but my lil sister is 14 years old and our mother does not let her stay in the car by herself. i mean like she makes her get off even if its just to pay the cashier for gas. she's a weirdo . lol

you don't leave a child alone in a car no matter what age. better to be safe than sorry.

Weird, yes.  However, she is being responsible though.  Maybe your sister can't be trusted in the car by herself.
