At what age did you find yourself finally talking & thinking just like your parents? Did you tell them yet?

The first time I scolded my oldest daughter, I cried--- not because I scolded her but because I sounded exactly like my mother. Yeah, everyone got a good laugh out of it!!!

I am almost 30 and I have never started "finally talking and thinking JUST like my parents". I don't want to be JUST like my parents. However, I do have a lot of traits of both of my parents. I would say I started to become more adult like, and therefore my parents like me more, at about age 25!

I've also thought and talked similarly to my parents. I don't think I will ever be EXACTLY like my parents, simply because I am a separate person, but there are times when I'm so in sync with one of my parents that it's like we can hear what the other is thinking.

My mom and I will joke sometimes that we're the same person, and we are alike in many ways, but we have our differences as well.

Sometimes I think I am one of the only people who LIKES being like her parents.
