At what age did you start wanting children?

I was in my early twenties. But it was not the right time. I didn't have enough money and was not in a stable enough relationship (it was a brand new one)

Now I'm almost 26, still with the same bf, and happily pregnant ;) it just seamt like the right time.

i started wanting kids like at the age of 12!! lol then when i met my bf now we started practicing and at the age of 17 i got pregnant lol so i guess i really wanted her but i never once regreted it! now we are trying for another!!

That's a hard question for me.

I suppose I started wanting children once I became a decent person myself. My son was born when I was 17, but then his Mother left us and I became a single Dad. At that point, I didn't want children and it wasn't until I got clean from heroin and became a responsible person that I wanted my son. I wanted more children when I was twenty and so, I'm now the Dad of two more (twins) with my wife.

didn't really want kids, but got pregnant (I am married) at 23. I am now 24, loving motherhood, couldn't imagine life without my daughter and can't wait to do it again!

i always wanted children since i was very young, always wanted to have my own family and etc.

then i got married at 27,got pregnant at 28 have my 1st baby at 29 & now she's nearly 11 months old.

would love to have more in the future!! =)))))

I was probably about 19 but my partner (now husband) wasn't ready so I waited till he was. We had our first child when I was 25.

About 22 but I didn't have my daughter until just before my 30th birthday.  I'm now almost 34 and expecting our second little girl in November!

Probably when I was about 15, but obviously I knew I was way too young, but I've always loved kids....my friends and I would talk about it when we were very young, you know, pretending our dolls were our kids!

Now I'm 24 and have a little girl and am expecting another little girl.

I've always wanted to be a mother though, I love caring for others.

I always knew I wanted to be a Mum. I started thinking about what I might call them and when I wanted them at about 15/16. Didn't actually want them then, I was planning on college and uni first. But I met my partner and we decided we would try. He's older than me, and promised to support us so I could go back to college. We have two little boys now, I had my first at 18, second at 19. I'm 20 in November and going back to college in September. I'm so glad I have the boys I have, and I'm very lucky to have a supportive partner who earns a good wage. I wouldn't recommend kids at my age, but if you are financially secure and in a relationship and plan it it can work :)

I'm 25 and almost painfully broody. I have been for about 18months now. Sadly now would be a really bad time to have a baby financially so i guess i have to wait a while longer.

22.  I got the baby bug bad, and quite young.  I was in a position to be able to have a baby (I was married and my husband had a good job), but unfortunately he lost it while I was pregnant.  We had a very hard couple years and have a huge amount of debt, even though we're doing much better now.  I had my baby at 24, but now I think 32 would have been a better idea.  I'm now 30 and have no "bug."  Hopefully it doesn't come back, as I'd hate to have a large gap in years between kids.  I'm also looking forward to being 42 and my child being grown.

Personally I was about 20, so two or so years ago. I dont have children myself but sometimes i do get it bad, other times the thought of it blows my mind! when I walk through the park or in the supermarket you see the cutest kids ever and your like "oohhhh i want to take him/her home!"

you just have to make sure you are financially stable and have the support you need. the worst scenario in my eyes is being an irresponsible single parent at 17 or whatever, not knowing where your baby's father is while your sitting at home in your council flat alone, living off my hard earned wages and wasting away!

I know I'd be stable and able to bring a child into the world but i am enjoying my life and at just 22 i have too many parties to go to and holidays to have to be thinking about that!!
