At what age did your baby become attached...?

to a toy, a stuffed animal, a blanket - anything? My 8 1/2 month old doesn't seem attached to anything right now. She does prefer certain toys over others but nothing she just keeps with her always.

my son is almost 17 months old and still doesn't have an attachment to a certain object. he's never liked blankets or stuffed toys
