And how did you know that they were, in fact, teething? I have a 6 month old and am wondering if he is getting his first teeth

  1. My daughter got her first teeth at 7 months(3 came in at once..2 bottom and one on top).. If his gums are swollen and it looks white good chance he is..

  2. Around 10 months.

But I'm not sure when he started teething, probably around 6 months when he kept drooling a flood enough to drown a small village.

I think he's teething again now as his upper teeth start appearing, this time I know he's teething because he bites everything and anything but the teething ring (spoons, remotes, noses, fingers, furniture..., you name it).

  3. My daughters first two teeth came in at about 2 months. She is now 10 months and has 8 teeth!!

Baby teeth are so cute! lol..

I knew my baby was teething because she was acting a lot more fussy and she kept drooling and then biting on things. I felt her gums and I could feel that there were teeth there, but hadn't broken through yet.

Some babies also have temperatures when they teethe.

Your baby very well may be! My daughter got hers early. Some baby are even born with teeth!

  4. My girl was seven months- she got the bottom two exactly at the same time. Shes actually teething right now. She usually just drools and chews but just before they break the skin she has it rough. I am so wiped right now- last few days have been so rough I am sure any day there will be another tooth. She usually gets loose b.m, upset tummy, sleeps less, and just crazily rubs her gums on everything. It has been taking me forever the last few days to get her to sleep because she is so uncomfortable. So teething is generally drooling and chewing but just before a tooth breaks you may notice a big difference in your baby

  5. my son just turned a year old a little over a week ago, and still has no teeth! he went through some stages when he was like 5-6 months old he would drool so much, then it just stopped and still had no teeth. my aunt told me though that her son was born with one tooth, so honestly it just depends on the baby. I also heard it was hereditary so if you and your husband got teeth early, your baby might too. Honestly, i am not sure if that is true but thats what i heard at least

  6. 10 months

  7. My son just got his first tooth two days ago. He is 10 months. Signs of teething can be low grade fever, drooling, not wanting to eat, constant chewing. I thought my son was teething for months and then it all stop. I looked in his mouth 2 days ago and it broke through. He had no symptoms leading up to it.

  8. My boys were both 3 months old when the first 2 teeth came through all the way.

  9. My son got two teeth exactly on his 6 month birthday.  He didn't really have any symptoms except that he woke up twice a night for 3 nights before his teeth broke through.  I thought I was going insane cause we didn't know what was going on with him.  He had no other symptoms like excessive drooling, crying, or chewing.

I think it just varies baby to baby.  Every one is different.

    Good luck to you!

  10. ten weeks!!!!

  11. 7 months. He could be is it white on the gum or swollen.

  12. My son got his first two weeks ago at 6.5 months! I honestly didn't even know he was getting it! He did have a slight fever one day (99.0) and his cheeks were red. He drooled even more than usual. But he was not super fussy and still slept for naps and night time. So it snuck up on me! It's soooooooooooooo cute though!
