At what age did your child get his/her 1st tooth?

Do you remember the exact age? How long before getting the tooth was he fussy and "teething"?

  1. 1 year give or take 4 months depending on teething to get the teeth to push through gum line.


  2. 7 months. don't let them get to use to the pacifier. Not good for teeth.

  6. my son was 4 almost 5 months He was cranky Teething tablets are my miracle worker!

  7. My daughter got her first tooth at three months. She never showed any signs that she was teething except for excessive drooling. By 10 months, she had 10 teeth. She was eager for table foods I guess :-)

  8. One of my boys got their first one at 11 months and the other at 7 months.   They drool a lot before that and you can see a white ridge on the gum just before they pop through.  Both my boys got their bottom teeth in first.  

  9. All 3 of my daughters got their first teeth around 6 months old,and were probally teething atleast a month or so before the actually came in.

  10. about 3 to 4 months but it sometimes depends on the child. they should start teething about a few days before getting the teeth

  11. My baby got his first tooth at 9 months and just woke up one day with it.  I was lucky.  My friend's daughter teethed on and off for 3 months!

  14. My daughter was 15 months old and she was never fussy.  My son was 15 months when he got his first.  He is not teething bad but can still get cranky. He is 17 months old now and has 4 teeth.

  15. She was really fussy around 3 months on the nose, first two popped in one weekend just before 4 months of age.  She had 8 teeth by 7 months and now at 11 months she still has 8

    yes and no, second child was very fussy.

  17. 5 months old, and she cut both bottom center teeth the same day.  She wasn't incredibly fussy before hand.

  18. 7 months. Before that he had a drooling spell for about 3 weeks prior to the first tooth breaking the gum.
