This depends on what type of bird you have , and what kind of care they are given. Also birds need allot of attention and a special diet for each type of species. If not given the special care to each individuuals needs could cause problems in itself.A parrot can live up to 50 years , a parakeet up to a year or even more, like I said it all depends on the type of bird and there care.
