  1. Children start nursery at 3 yrs old in the sept so 2005, and full time the yr after therefore 2006 and they would be about to start yr 2.

  2. Children usually start pre-school at 2 and a half, however you have to pay until the term after which they turn 3. She would have qualified for pre-school funding as of the Summer term 2005. She will have started school fulltime in September 2006, as that is the school year in which she turned 5.

  3. Umm...

Well, when you say Nursery, do you mean Pre-school?

Usually, children start pre-school at 2 or 3.

They usually stay there for about 2 years.

When they're about 4 or 5 (this all depends on what month you're born in) they can start kindergarten.

She should already be in kindergarten right now...

  4. If you are in the Uk most kids start reception of Primary School aged 4 and turn 5 whilst they are in that year. As for nursery i'm not sure sorry.

  5. Nursery 3-4 (i think) and full time school age is 4-5 i think so lol.

  6. It varies from area to area, some schools take all the reception children in one intake in September, others have another intake in January to take the younger children, in my area the second intake is for kids with birthdays from April onwards... As for nursery I think it's pretty much standard for them to start at age 3

  7. In Scotland schools children start nursery at 3 - there a 3 intakes over the year and this child might have been accepted after the Easter holidays, when she had just turned 3 or failing that in August.

She would have started in primary school the August after her 5th birthday.

  8. You mean 'would have', not 'would of'.
