  1. It's different for all kids and depends how early they got their first tooth. Generally if a child got their baby teeth early then they will lose them earlier as well.

Most kids start to lose teeth around age 6 though on average. The first to go are the two front bottom teeth.

EDIT: actually it IS true that if you start earlier they will start falling out earlier. Why do you think baby teeth fall out in the same order they came in?!

    a quote from an article:

    "When do teeth fall out?

An early teether as a baby may loose teeth earlier in childhood as well; you may have a child of only 4 years loosing her first tooth."

  2. 4-6 and nope

both my babies cut their teeth way early in fact my daughter had her full mouth by the time she was 1.  She is almost 5 now and still does not have one even loose in her mouth.

They just drop out when they are ready.

After 7 if you child still has not lost one I would say its time for a trip to the dentist.

  3. I lost my first one when I was 7, not sure about the second Q.

  4. it kinda does, if you have a kid who cuts teeth really early they may lose earlier than average.  generally, kindergarten is when the first falls out, so around age 5 but i believe according to the docs it's anywhere from 4-7 years old.  both my older kids lost their first at age five, i have 4 kids, two already past the first, one with a new set, and one still workin on a mouthful.  they've all gotten teeth about the same time, so i expect the younger two will be the same.  they do fall out in pretty much the same order they came in, in my experience.  we got bottom 2 first, bottom 2 were first to go, top 2 followed, etc.

    hope this helps!

  5. Both of my kids were 6 years old. I don't think that it has anything to do with when they cut their teeth since they both cut them at different times.

  6. Does Karebear have a loose tooth?

I believe most children lose their first tooth during kindergarten.

I was a volunteer for a kindergarten teacher who tracked when her students lost their first teeth! :)

  7. I lost mine when I was 5. Which is a very typical age. Around 5 and 6 is when they start bursting out there front teeth, til around 8 and then a hiatus until like 10 when they lose there canines and sometimes start molars.
