  1. 65 is the standard, however you can semi retire after turning 55 either by cutting down your hours of work and taking the loss of pay from your superannuation or by taking a part of your super if the latter is chosen  hours of work cannot be extended. Also you can retire at 60 and take your super but hours of work are then limited to a very low amount or not at all depending on the amount of super one has accumulated and taken.


  2. 65 is the standard retirement age, when you are entitled to the government pension.  some people retire a lot earlier though, some later, but 70 would be the latest i know of.

  3. 65 is the official age . for woman it was 60 but is now being scaled up to 65 so depending on the year they where born depends on when one retires. Those born in 1946 I believe the retirement age is 64 now.
