At what age do people typically stop playing paintball?

I'm 18 and i kind of want to try to get into paintball, but don't want to waste too much money if i'm not gonna use my gear alot for a long time

  1. 2 years is the average lifespan ( playing time... not literal ) of a player

    resale is horrible.

    if your just trying it then rent for the first year.

    then decide for your self how into it you are and how much you are willing to spend.

    markers go for between 1200$ and 40$ so before you spend anything rent and find out what kind of play you enjoy ( bush or speed ball ) what are important aspects of a marker for you ( rate of fire, ease of maintenance, originality, looks, weight )

    bear in mind that to hit ROF of over 12 bps you need to spend over

    100$ on a hopper. and probably over 100$ on an air tank. plus your paint use will sky rocket.

    I have been playing since 92ish with a 7 year break and I love it. but alot of kids have fun untill they get lit up by some a*****e then they quit. so wait, rent, and play. then when you decide that you will stick to it buy. or buy early and take a dive on the resale. that how I get my guns for cheap!
