At what age do?

kids start to say there own name? mine is 2 1/2 years old and when we are out side and some on is in side she knocks on the door some one says whos there and my daughter goes me and then i ask who's me and she is like MEEEE its so cute but when do they really say there name. she knows who she is u can say her name and she says me or here..

my son is 2 and he does not say his name either. he responds to it but when a stranger asks what his name is he gives them a deer in the headlights look, a friend of mine has a 3 yr old and he knows his name and says it, so she should say it sometime soon

My brother started to say his own name between the age of 2 and a half and three. don't worry your daughter will start soon.
