At what age do they loose ther spots. I have two baby deer in my back yard that are with there mama.?

  1. Toward the end of summer, about 3 months.  Here it coincides with adults putting on winter coats.


  2. Baby deer are fawns, their mother is a doe.  Typically fawns keep their spots until fall.  Here in southern Illinois fawns keeps their spots until about November.  It is a gradual process, they just don't all of a sudden disappear.

    Please don't bother them.  Keep the dogs away from them, they will kill a fawn.  Leave the wild to the wild.
