  1. i gave them for a year and then stopped as my doctor said that the baby will get used to it.

  2. The doc told me they weren't necessary, so I didn't give them, but I also breastfed the first 6 months or so.

Once he could chew really well, I started giving him Flintstones.

  3. Until he can chew up the chewable kind well enough.

  4. Blech... I hated using the vitamn drops... they made my son smell awful. He's 18 months old now and for the last 3 months I've been crushing up a chewable vitamin and mixing with acidic drinks (orange juice or a couple of ounces of Mountain Dew) in his sippy cup. It works well for us!

  5. With our first daughter we gave drops until she turned 2.  Then we switched to "my first flinstones".  They are smaller than the regular flinstones and recommended for 2 year olds.
