  1. Its tough to be a pro right now, but you have other alternatives that you can use. First off, see if you can use tennis to win a scholarship to college. Also you can just play for the sportsmanship of it all and the exercise.

IF you want to be a pro you have to play at LEAST 3 hours a day not just 3 days a week in the summer. See how Maria Sharapova moved to florida when she was little, and did almost nothing other than play tennis? That is what you would have to do.

Read James' Blake's book -I think he started later in life, so it is possible. I'm not sure, though. I don't think its TOTALLY impossible, but I doubt you'd make it to the top 50.

  2. You have no chance of becoming pro. Wow, you have been playing tennis since you were eleven. And blah, blah, blah. If you were some sort of tenns prodigy you would have been noticed.

Good luck in finding a real profession that isn't based around fantasy.

  3. Well, I'm sorry to tell you that it is unlikely that you make it to be a professional tennis player... But, it is not impossible.. every time you play you should still try to be the best, and always aim to the top.. Never give up no matter the odds...

I started playing tennis at age 7 and played every day 4 hours per day until I was 11.. Once I turned 12 I stopped going to regular schools , and committed all my time to tennis... I trained at least 6 hours per day every day...Well... I still didn't make it farther than the futures circuit.

.... so, If you practice just once a while I'd have to say you have no chance..

    .

..getting a scholarship to go to college is a lot more accessible.. I think that even if you started playing as late as age 14, you could go to a decent div II program if you practiced full time 6 hours per day and took the proper supplements... and if you also have decent grades and SAT.

  4. I don't know. It doesn't matter how much you play as much as you practice and finalize your technique. I think I would actually have to see you play to decide, sorry. I play in tournaments 3 times a week but I have no interest in going pro. =P
