Just wondering what peoples concepts of being an adult are, so give me an age and the reason why you think you grew up at this particular age!

To start you off, I think I grew up at age 18 when I moved out of home for university- though I still have very childish moments daily!

  1. 11

  2. 25

  3. 21 is the perfect age to grow up./

  4. I still think myself as a child, I'm 15 and I still love to do things that kids love to do. I guess I'll grow up once I'm alone in college and the first bill comes in...lol.

  5. When I was 21 I thought I was grown up. And at 25 and 30 etc and I am still waiting. I mean, what is 'grown up'.

  6. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW I AGREEEE WITH DA DUDE ABOVE ME

YUNG AT HEART **** DA BODYYY

  7. Too early. Probably around age 8. No kidding. There was alcoholism and abuse in my home. I was the oldest child. I took on responsibility early for household chores and caring for siblings. It has a way of sucking the child out of you.

However, today, I'm happily married with three wonderful children, have been for 9 years. I gave birth to our first child at 20 and turned 29 today. I never felt cheated being a mother in my 20's, because I've always been a caregiver in some respect since I was a child.

I've forgiven my parents and we have a good relationship now. They're wonderful grandparents to our kids.

  8. When I was 17, I think I officially began to stop whining & complaining, I'm 20 now but I still have a lot of growing up to do.

  9. I started when I was 18 too. I started a job at a nursing home then as a nurse's aid. It gave me responsibility to the residents.

  10. NEVER!  I refuse to grow up and will never grow up.

  11. Legally and chronologically, 18.  Psychologically, 40...but still with fun "childish moments."

  12. WHEN I WAS 8 AND I JOINED MY FATHERS CULT.

  13. It depends on the person.

Personally, I grew up at 16 when I had my son.

I work with a 35 year old who has still not grown up.
