  1. im moving up to a 250f and im 5,8 and im 13  ,i would say between 5,6 & 5,8 is the perfect size not to small and not to tall,i dont know about weight but i dont think it matters that much,as long as youve got the skill ,convidence, comitment and experience,i suggest a kxf 250 08 if you get a 250 there brilliant

  2. My first 250f Was age 14, about 5'10" and 155 pounds.

I could have moved up when i was13 years old, but I didn't have the money for a 250 at the time.

  3. 15 ,16 years old! 140, 150 lbs somwhere around thre

  4. i moved to mine when i was thirteen and about 130 lbs but you also have to be mentally ready for that much power if you are moving up in bike size

  5. Where I live you are not allowed to race 4 stroke 250cc till you are 13 years of age.  Lots of kids race them when very small (size wise) and use a block on the start line.

I think a good height would be at least 5ft 7 or 8 and  over 60kilos would be a good size and weight to be, but again it depends a lot on the persons ability as I have a son who is tiny and around 5ft6 tall only weighing 48 kilos and he is racing one.  He has trouble on rough tracks and has to work hard to get off the line especially if it is concrete starts as there isn't enough weight on the bike.

The specialists who do his suspension believe that he really needs to be over 50kilos before they can get his suspension working to optimium. But he is very much out of the ordinary as far as weight goes for his age. Being light does work to his advantage when he races his smaller bike, but he is almost of an age where he has to move on from that.

  6. you hould move up to a 250 f machine when you feel that you can handle the power. there is no weight or age limit on the bikes you ride, its just a matter of how well you feel on the bike......

  7. Its all bout when you are ready,  when are you one strong enough to pick the bike up, as well as start it, also are you tall enough.  I ride a 250 and im a lil too short but can still manuver just fine.  But really when you are ready go for it

  8. I wouldn't move to the lites class until around 15 unless you are just very tall and cannot comfortably ride an 85 expert.

  9. at least  have enough experience on the bike  that  you  can   do what  you need it  to get done

whether  your  doing freestyle"like me"  or    racing

always good  to have  alot of experiencee on a bike    before moving up a class
