  1. I started in Israel when I was 7. But the basic worldwide appropriate age for school, I think is 6.

  2. At 3 yrs. old

  3. my daughter began at age 4 in pre-k.

  4. Depends on what type of school you are refering to. Preschool is for 3 and 4 yr olds or 5 yr olds that miss the birthday cut-off to begin kindergarten. Kindergarten begins if the child is 5 by the beginning of school or a month or so afterwards.

  5. five

  6. Generally children start at 5. It really depends on the child's social level and also how they have developed socially.

Go to the school and see what the teacher thinks.

It is better to have a 6 yr old in kindergarten  that is doing well than having a 6 year old who is not ready for school or is having issues and feels that they were forced in to soon.

  7. It depends on your child but kids generally start preschool at the ages 3-4 then kindergarten at the age of 5-6. Then so on...

  8. From a point of view of a future Child Care Center owner I say that a child needs the social skills of being around other children. Even if your kid attends a program three or four days a week a few hours a day it gives them the adjustment to a school setting allowing them an easy transition into school at the age of 3 or 4. Being a stay at Home Parent is fine there are things that you can teach your child that no teacher will take the time to teach. However there are things that they need to learn that they can only learn from being around other children that are not siblings.

  9. 3 - pre-K

    4 - K1

    5 - K2

    6 - 1st grade

  10. In Ireland I started when I was four, but I think its different here.. The normal age universally is around five.

  11. 5

  12. It depends on when you want to start a child and when he/she feels like it.

    2 for nursury school.

    4 for pre-k

    6 for kindergarten

CATION: You must start at Kindergarten, though.

  13. 5 or 6

    but 4 is also fine

  14. usually a child starts kindergarden at 5 years old...in pre-k a child can start as early as 3 years old

  15. Usually at age 3 or 4. Three if you want them to do 2 years in preschool 4 if just one. Kindergarten starts at age 5. But be sure to check your school districts cut-off dates to make sure what age your child will have to be to enter Kindergarten

  16. Usually 5 for kindergarden and 6 for first grade. If you need them in preschool then around 3 or 4. The birthday cut off is usually around November or so maybe a little sooner. I hope this helps, good luck.

  17. Legally in the United States a child  doesn't have to start until Kindergarten.  That would be around 5-6 years old depending on their level.  There are preschool programs for children 3-5 for many children to get socialized young, but those are not a requirement.

  18. legally it's at age 5 for kindergarten, but you should definitely have them in some kind of educational daycare or pre school program by age 3.

  19. Please be a good mother and keep your child home for at least the first three years of his life. You can teach a child a lot in those years. Nobody will take better care of your child than you.

  20. 5-6 years old. for kindergarten

  21. Life is too short! 5 is soon enough!!!

  22. Most states have a law that children must start 1st grade by age 7.  Need to check with your local school district if it is a question that affects your family.  Look in white pages for "schools" and find administrative offices for your school district.
