  1. Before I think 16 years old

  2. Before.  The minimum age is 17.

  3. To be eligible for a private pilot certificate a person must be at least 17 for an airplane rating, 16 for a glider rating.

  4. Depends where you are for example, in Australia and the USA the age requirement is 16 or 18 in the UK and China

  5. hey ben  dere...........

as you probably know, it is not a license, it is a certificate.  it is a moot  point as to how it it spelled re: aviation.

the difference, a license expires at some point, a certificate does not.

  6. I read in a book and there were 13 year olds with A (A) pilots license, the other answeres are problably better though...

  7. In the USA you need to be 16 to solo as a student (no passengers allowed), 17 to get a private license (PPL), 18 to get a commercial pilots license (CPL), 23 to receive an airline transport pilots license (ATP). If you fly gliders, the age minimum to solo is 14.

p.s. It's spelled license, not licence. I'm not picking on you, it's one of the most misspelled words in the english language.

  8. You have to be 17 in the US to get your private pilot rating.
