  1. 12 or 13  depending on the maturity level of the child. And also if they are willing to stay home alone. But don't force it on them. And of course i wouldn't leave them too long at this age. Maybe a few hours at first, just while you run errands. And let them know you are going to call to check in frequently. GOOD LUCK!!!

  2. i would say like 12 or 13... but they have to be MATURE enough

  3. depends  on several factors:

    where you live

    the age of your child

the maturity level of your child

    whether its day or night

how long they are going to be alone...

  4. the law says 12

  5. i think at 12 years old they can be home alone for a little bit after school (latchkey) untl the parents come home from work.  I think its the age 13 that they can be left home alone for a while or until they can babysit on their own.  It also depends on the child too.  Some kids are more mature than others.  Some kids can never be left alone for too long or need close supervision while some require little supervision.  Legally though i think its 13 years but i would probably find out by talking to someone professionally or asking someone who is familiear with family law just to be safe.

  6. At probably 12 years old. You have to instruct them to never ever answer the door to anyone even at 12 years old. Look at child molesters they've taken 12 year olds. no younger than 12. That's my opinion, but I live near the city and watched tv and read true crime books. I've paid attention to the true crime done to children. It depends on where you live and how comfortable you feel. About a year ago there was that story of the mother of 2 boys who lived in the country that was taken from her home while her children were napping, he raped the lady at his home, then took her to another location shooting her in the head. She was tied up in his back seat before being taken to the 2nd location screaming and banging on the windows. A lady in another car hearing the screams coming from their car called 911 but that didn't help. violent screams at the stop light. But the mother was still taken to that 2nd location and shot to death. Her toddler boys lost their mother.  If an adult stay-at-home mom can be abducted, any age child can too. Good Luck!

    Here's story of that mother,

  7. It depends on how mature your child is and how long / how often you're leaving them, but usually around 10-12 years old.....

  8. 11-12 years old if mature enough and only for short hours and never at night.  Nighttime hours i would say more like 15-16 depending on maturity level.  I would never recommend leaving a child home alone before the age of 10, i know that some parents let their children be home for an hour or two after school but it is risky especially at younger ages.

  9. IN MY OPINION IT WOULLD BE 10 + OR 12 + HOPE U MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION...
