(Yahoo Spell Checker recommended I spell woobie as 'woodie'. That would change the entire dynamic of the question...)

  5. A woobie meaning a security item like a blanket or a stuffed animal?

Well, this is a personal choice as a parent, really, but for my family:

I think it's fine to let them run around with it all they want at any age--if it makes them feel secure then it's all good.

I don't think they are ever too old to stop sleeping with them.

I don't think they should take them to school...ever.

I don't think they should take them out of the house after 3 and a half.

That said, I don't think badly of children I see dragging something after them in the grocery store. They aren't my kid so I don't care!

  6. Are we talking blankie or passyfier.

My eldest got rid of hers around 4-5. (woobie)

My four year old still has hers. (woobie)

  8. lol...never too old for a woodie, I always say!

I took my daughters away at 3, plus it was torn to pieces!

  9. What exactly is that?

  10. My son carried his until he started Pre-K at 3.  Then, he only had it at night.  He still has it to this day and he's 7 1/2.

I guess it depends on your child.

    Good luck!
