  1. A woman (or man for that matter) should only be concerned with a negative label if it applies to them.  If it doesn't, then don't worry about it.

Is  your campaign against people who are s***s or against the use of the word "s**t"?  If it's the first, then I think you would be more successful if you were against S****y behavior than against 's***s' themselves.  A lot of people act like s***s because they come from abusive families, have really low self-esteem or both.  In that case, it would be better for you to campaign for girls to respect their bodies, rather than allow them to be used by others as if they were objects.

If you're against the word "s**t" then that's a more complicated matter.  When I was in high school, a friend of mine campaigned against the use of the word "honky".  A honky is a stupid white person (similar to the 'n' word for African Americans) and about 10% of our school was white.  Unfortunately, as soon as he got people to stop using the word 'h****y' they started using the words 'cracker' or 'gringo', which are just as bad.  So once again, your campaign will be a lot more successful if it promotes respect for women, rather than if it campaigns against a specific word.

Luckily for you, the campaign for respecting women has been going for years, and is sustained by a lot of religious, secular and community organizations.  Promoting respect for 1/2 of the human race may be one of the most important things you ever do, so good luck!
