At what age should you start shaving your legs?

my cousin was asking me what age you should start shaving your legs and i told her i started when i was 12. but what age do you think she should start shaving her legs.(loads of hair on legs)

if she has a lot of hair on her legs then she should start now. i started when i was ten but my sister started when she was 11. i had somewhat a lot of hair on my legs and that's why i started.

It doesn't matter what age you shave at. If you have hair, then you should start shaving. I started shaving at the age of 12. That's usually when puberty starts to kick in.

i started when i was 12 as well. well i was a few months away f/ being 13...a lot of my friends started in like 5th grade but thats just crazy!

i think that whenever you become aware that you should. but i think 12 or 13, some girls go it when they're 11 but i think thats sort of silly

I don't think that there's really a certain age when you should start shaving your legs... just when you feel the need to.

But almost everybody I know (including me) started shaving when they were in 6th grad.. so age 11 or 12.

i started end of 3rd grade yearr. they were like really hiary so i guess age doesnt matter much its just if you need to shave...

No two "bodies" react to life in the same way.. Your own eyes will tell you when it's time... And you then react accordingly.

But it's good that you have given thought to this subject this early in your life..

With the first shaving if there's too much to "plow" through, it's not pleasant, and becomes discouraging..

Unfortunately, we then becomes "slaves" to keeping up the process all in the name of looking good.  But then again, we have to take pride in ourselves, and if this is what's required, so be it..  A few minutes spent on ourselves, can be very rewarding and gratifying..

And Western world standards almost dictate that women's legs should be free of hair..

Just think of all the other  criteria you have to look forward to...

i started when i was 11 [in the middle of 6th grade]. but i know people who started in 5th grade. i think it just depends on how much hair there is and whether she feels confident or not.  but definitely by the the time she is 14 or so she needs to start;;;;; if not its kinda gross.

Well, it is whenever you become uncomfortable with having hair on your legs.  It is a personal decision.  I mean usually most girls start around twelve...I started at ten...But, how many little girls do you see that just shaved?  At that age, you don't care!

i started when i was twelve, but you couldn't rly see the hair on my legs because i have light blonde hair. if she has darker, more noticeable hair she could start younger.

I started shaving mine when I was 9, but only cuz my older sister was a freak about hair everything. But if she has a alot of hair and it bothers her then I don't see why she shouldn't shave at her age.
