At what age to people begin to realize they have some psychic abilitites?

I am asking this because over the last few years I have been become aware of my senses. I have always been able to feel the emotional state of others; but really always thought it was a normal thing. Here is the thing I really don't remember how long ago it started but I love angels. Pictures; figures; blankets. I started decorating in them. The mature looking angels. I also started asking people I just met questions about their past and a few got really freaked out. I have been able to guess colors they write down on paper I can't see and I also been able to guess birthdays on people I just meet. I am almost always right on. So has anyone else had this happen later in life? Did anything trigger it? I often wonder if my subconscious see's and hears angels which is why in my conscious life I collect them. I am still not confident about my interpretations of what i see. I suppose the more I practice the better I can get. has anyone else experienced this.

Usually, unless you're really scientifically illiterate and/or New Age touchy-feely, you outgrow belief in psychic ability about the same time you outgrow the belief in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny, not to mention angels.

To believe in things that aren't there shows a willingness to disregard reality and engage in what many people--myself included--call "magical thinking".  Do as you wish, but you must realize that you are electing to wander off into what is essentially La-La Land.

So you can't do it all the time, only when the feelings come?  This suggests to me, and should suggest to you as well, that it's not psychic powers but good guessing. As far as when people develop psychic powers, we don't have a single person yet who has been able to demonstrate their psychic powers under controlled conditions (e.g., under a situation where chance, coincidence, and deception can be eliminated). So I'm afraid there is no answer to your question since there are no psychics that we know of.

T R - yes a good guesser - a very good guesser. That's what it's about. To be able to increase your chances of being correct.

I have a different gift.

I dowse and can find things. One occasion was when my wife was cutting the grass in the orchard.

She lost an earing in 4 acres of land. I dowsed and discovered that it was damaged, and hidden under cut grass. Then I set about dowsing for directions to it. I found it in under 5 minutes - under a clump of grass. yes, the strimmer had hit it and bent it before it was covered.

In 4 acres of land - what is the probability please of finding it in 5 minutes in exactly the state predicted?

Another time I was looking for the propertie's stop tap No plans were available and no visual clues. It was burried under a grass strip - 4 inches down. First attempt - I put my spade dead on it. - Possible search area - 900square feet.
