Or diapers for americans who dont know what nappies are. My daughter is 2 and a half, we started toilet training her but when winter came stopped because when wearing clothes she wont stop and think and actually go to the toilet, so I am waiting for the warmer weather again so she can walk around the house pants free

  1. around 2 2 and a half like you depending on the weather but my last girl was trained by 2 and a half but still had a night nappie till she was 3 i have 3 of each and found boys way easier to train then the girls the boys never wet the bed the girls had accidents for ages

  2. We had a eureka moment for our daughter when she turned 3, after a year of stressful trying, and stopped wearing pull-ups (diapers like underwear) then.  That being said, she is 4-1/2, and has a really bad habit of waiting until she can't hardly hold it in to ask to go, which sometimes means it is too late.  Wearing dresses all the time really helped, because it was so much easier for "Little Miss Independent" to take care of herself.  For a while we had her wear a dress with nothing on underneath while at home.

With my second, I'm not worrying about it so much.  When she is ready, she will do it.  We bought her a little potty at 18 months because she wanted one, and she insists on using it about every other week or so, usually with success.  We'll see.

    Good luck!

  3. most kids are out of diapers by their are 2 1\2  or 3

  4. at two

  5. We stopped using diapers and started using pull-ups very shortly after age 2.  At age 2 1/2, we did away w/ pull-ups and put him in big boy underwear.  That seemed to be all it took, he was officially potty-trained within 2 days of switching to underwear.

ETA:  I figured out what a "nappie" is here a while back  : )

  6. My son was 4 yrs and 9 months old before he stopped completely peeing and pooping in his pants....He started potty training at 3 1/2 yrs old,

My daughter was 3 when we started potty training  her and she is almost completely trained at 3 yrs and 5 months old.

  7. 20 months to 3 I have heard all kids are different ... my twins are 21 months and i am starting to train them now and see what happens ...

  8. My son was 2years old almost to the day when he was fully potty trained. I just bought him some underwear with superheros on them, and told him that Batman didn't want to be pooped on, and it took about a week of this before he got it down - he was a piece of cake!

My daughter on the other hand was afraid of getting flushed down the toilet haha , so she wasn't fully trained until she was closer to 3 yrs old.

    Every child is different...

  9. I'm American and I know what a nappy is.  Our daughter is 15 months old almos 16 mo. and we are going to try to start in a couple of months.  My mom said I was potty trained by 18 months.  However, it seems that a lot of kids around her aren't potty trained until much later.  Sometimes I think that that's more because of lazy parents than the child not actually being read.  Good luck!

  10. My son vvas 2 in a half but then he vvould get constipated and not vvant to go p**p on the toilet so he vvould go in his pants, so i put him back in pull ups and by the time he vvas 3 in half he vvas fine again and vvas in undervvear. My daughter is 2 and i'm vvorking vvith her but she only goes vvhen "she" vvants to so i'm hoping that by the end of the summer, a couple more months she'll be out of them completely.

  11. The summer he turned two................a lot easier to potty train in the summer.

  12. my son was out of them at 2

  13. hi the summer my saughter was 2 it is much eaier in the summmer my daughter was out of nappies it soes take a lot of time and pattience

  14. My oldest are twins and they trained right after their 3rd birthday. It took a little longer with twins but once we got serious about training and stopped listening to the doctor who kept saying they would do it on their own when ready, then they trained quick.

My middle son trained the week after he turned 2 yrs old and was really easy, he practically trained himself.

My youngest was 2 when we started but it took until about 2 1/2 before he was completely dry.
