  1. an ideal hieght is 17 inches from w/top to base of wall units, which means you will be able to reach shelves inside quite easily.

  2. It varies between manufacturers.  To get the "designed" height of the wall units, look for a full-height cupboard in the same range.  The top of the full-height cupboard will be at the same height as the top of the wall units.  Good luck.

  3. All wall cabinets are set at 54 inches from the floor to the bottom of the wall cabinet.

  4. The height that suits you best without having to over stretch

  5. Whatever height suits you jimny, within reason. The norm is 18" (450mm) but if it would be better for reaching the cupboards to have them lower that's fine. My cupboards are just under 16" above the worktop. simply because my ceilings are only 6'3" high, and I couldn't therefore get them any higher. Just give a bit of thought to what you might want to have ON the worktop, underneath the cupboards, and make sure you leave enough clearance for those things. Also you might consider whether you are having under cupboard lighting as the pelmet that covers/hides that lighting will reduce the accessible height. Avoid setting higher than 18" as it could make life difficult for future, shorter, occupants.

  6. usuallyt  18 inches but depends on your height.

You should be able to touch bot shelve without straining

  7.   why do you , not go to somewhere like, howdens, magnet, or a

kitchen design  place , and  then , they will get  someone out, to measure , the kitchen for you,

explain what you, want, and they can design it  on a laptop, for  you.

you, will be  able to see for urself then.

       good luck  with it.
