At what level does a magicarp evolve at on pokemon diamond?

i have a magicarp on my game pokemon diamond version, and i REALLY want a Gyardose... could you please tell me what level i have to raise it to for it to evolve?

I'm pretty sure it's 20 with a high relationship with your Magikarp. (get the Magikarp massages in Veilstone City to increase  its favor with you)

i think it evolves at lvl 30

The only way to evolve Magikarp is to level it up to Lv. 20 and it'll evolve into a Gyarados. You don't need to do anything like trading it or raising it's happiness, just make it Lv. 20
