I would suggest that most people feel more influence from their job than from the government 'as such'!
A corporation, in diferentiation from working for yourself, provides bufferage and stability of income by sharing the reponsibility base over a lot of other individuals (hopefully through a competent managment system). To some extent, this is why companies spend so much time encouraging 'teamwork'.
At what point does a company become so large, from an individuals perspective, that they 'govern behaviour' to a level comparable or greater than a 'government'?
Additional points of interest.; At what point does a company become so large that it's influence on it's employees tends towards propoganda?
And; Can I suggest that there is irony in the fact that modern corporations tend very strongly to socialist ideology systems which is in direct oposition to a capalist ideology?
