At what point in puberty can a guy start getting real muscle increases by working out?

I'm 14 atm, and i'm really skinny i've worked out before but never saw any results. At what stage in puberty can i start getting results?

  2. Well to let you know what stage in puberty you are at here's a link to a website that will let you know. But about the muscle thing I have just started weight training as well and the first couple of weeks ive hated trying to lift weights in front of the older kids. But then I realized that they went through the same thing at our age. So don't fret about not being able to lift the big weights just yet. Star off with something ligt like a ten to fifteen weight pound once it becomes easir tyou can go a lite higher. Dont do anything over 45 lbs. Lifting weights will stunt your growth espescially now that our bodys are beginning to develop. Good Luck!
