i am losing weight (i have lost 15 already and am trying for about 50 lbs all together). some of my slacks for work aren't fitting in certain areas. when should i go buy new ones. i just started my job less than a month ago and i had to spend $130 for slacks that work with the dress code. I don't want to spend that much every time i turn around (the job only pay $7/hr & it will be part time in about 2 weeks). also, how could i make these that i have now last a little longer?

  1. try tayloring your clothes. you could either do it yourself or go to a taylor and have yourself measured and such. i'd assume that tayloring would be less expensive than buying now slacks. good luck :]

  2. You could get your old clothes altered and then buy new clothes when you really need them.  Buying new clothes for a part time job that only pays $7/hour makes no sense.  You'll spend more on clothes than you'll make on the job.

  3. a belt.

  4. bring the clothes to the tailor and get them let in its alot cheaper don't go shopping until 35 lbs good luck!!

  5. either get them taken in by like a professional or just like safety pin. haha. or well i guess u could take it in urself maybe. sorry im not really sure. : /

  6. Have a seamstress take them in for you.

  7. Have them altered - it's only about $10-15.  There's usually a taylor in every strip mall - or ask at the dry cleaners.   Congrats on the weight loss!!!
