  1. hi im 29 weeks today and havent got any yet touch wood! ive been using palmers butter but the new one in a green bottle with organic olive oil its great x

  2. I never got any stretch marks on my stomach, but i started getting really big gross stretch marks on my b***s the last couple of months I think.

  3. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and i dont have any stretch marks, i thought everyone got them whilst pregnant, i'm not big so i dont have loads of skin either, i've been a UK size 8 all my life, and i'm only in UK 10 trousers now, and baby is measuring bang on. I hope your as lucky as me with not getting any xx

  4. I never got any! Not everyone does.

  5. Cake on the bio oil!!  I did every night without fail - and cocoa butter in the morning if I had time and remembered.  I never got a single stretch mark, and now 5 months after having the baby I am just a bit chubbier than I was before - but you can't tell I had a baby....

Keep going with the bio oil - and remember to go all the way up to under your b***s, down to the top of your pubic line and round the sides...

You can definitely prevent them - or at least prevent them being as bad as they would be without the bio oil.

    xx

  6. Hey hun, I was 7 months when I started getting them, mine arnt very noticeable but they're a pain in the ***! :) I used bio oil and coco butter like you so maybe thats why they're not so noticeable now. Even though they're not very pretty they're a small price for a gorgeous little baby. Good luck with ur ickle baby! x

  7. Girl I am 4 months and I already have them, thank god you dont have any yet. I have them on my stomach already. I am trying to look up how i can lighten them :) But I just look at them as a mark from my baby saying hello LOL

    Good Luck

  8. i'm over 5 months and i've been showing since my 16th week, and i still don't have any stretch marks!!! (knock on wood).

  9. I was very lucky, I got to 41 weeks and huge and still didn't get any. I truly believe they are hereditary.

  10. my sister got stretch marks at around five months and they were realy bad

  11. You can't prevent them.  I started getting them in the 8th month

  12. i got mine at 36 weeks, but my belly got huge! Bio oil and Cocoa defo helped. They fade after a while anyway and if you keep using Bio and Cocoa they will help them go. You sometimes sacrifice your body for your beautiful baby.

    Good luck.xx

  13. I went in for a checkup at about 8 months and the nurse complimented me and said that my belly looked like a pregnancy model, all popped out with no stretch marks.  I used shea butter every day from about 3 months.  Well, I think she jinxed me, because about a week later, they came on all over!  Each time, it has waited until the last month, and then ... surprise!  They do fade over time, and I like to think now that I "earned" them. :)

  14. I got none with my 1st pregnancy and two tiny ones with my 2nd pregnancy - yes very lucky!!  I didn't use any creams or oils.  I have heard that you will either get them or not and it is not necessarily to do with what you put on your skin, although some people swear by moisturising.

I have also heard that you should look to your mum, did she get stretch marks?  It can be hereditary.

Just one last thing.  Drink plenty of water which will keep your skin hydrated and who knows, may keep those nasty stretch marks away!

Good luck with the pregnancy and avoiding those marks

  15. I'm going into 38 weeks tomorrow and still do not have any . I did not get any with my 1st either - I'm very fortunate.

  16. I just started getting some a few weeks ago, right around 27 or 28 weeks. I think that was when they started appearing.  Good luck, hopefully you'll escape this fate!

  17. I'll be 6 months tomorrow and I don't have any yet.

  18. Stretch marks depend on your collagen and elastin. If you have rubbish collagen and elastin no amount of moisturiser will prevent them! Sorry!

  19. Unfortunately, this can be different for everyone.  My pregnancy book says they usually show up around 26-28 weeks but after talking to many of my friends and family, they say they usually show up right near the end of pregnancy where you really POP!

However, I am currently 28 weeks and I only have a few tiny ones on my b*****s, my stomach is still clear *knock on wood* and I feel like I'm pretty big in my belly.  But my mom never got any stretchmarks either except on her b*****s.  Stretchmarks are known to be genetic so does your mom have them?  If she does, you will probably get them too.

I have been using Bio Oil and Cocoa Butter too every day, and so far so good!  Even if I get them, at least doing this should minimize them!

    Good Luck and Congrats~

  20. I am 32 weeks, and I still don't have any.  *knock on wood*.

  21. I'm 24 weeks and started getting them about week 21. The thing is that when you are pregnant your skin stretches slowly (obviously, over 9 months) but when the baby comes out all of a sudden your belly goes down, so you may find you have no stretch marks through pregnancy, then all of a sudden your skin tries to 'shrink' back to normal and that's when you get stretch marks. Oils don't help prevent them, they just help them fade quicker and become less obvious!

Good luck, you're very lucky if you don't get any (80% of women get at least a few).

  22. I started getting them around 10 weeks. Especially in the breast area.

  23. last few weeks.. n i kept using the creams and oil all d way through.. i got on my thighs n bum.. n bit on my stomach n im only 19 :/ a well, its d price u pay hehe
