  1. F = 9/5C + 32

    if F = 2C

    then 2C =9/5C + 32

    or     .2C = 32

    so       C = 160

    and     F =  320

    I think this is right

  2. Conversion formula: C to F:

    F = 9/5C + 32

    Therefore:

    If F = 2C, then:

    2C = 9/5C + 32

    2C - 9/5C = 32

    2C - 1.8C = 32

    0.2C = 32

    C = 32/0.2

    C = 320/2 = 160

    Therefore; at C = 160, F = 9/5*(160) + 32

    = 9*(32) + 32 = 288 + 32 = 320F

    160C =320F

    Answer: At 320F = 160C

    Thanks for noting the "typo".

  3. Both Andy and Phoenix are correct.

    160C=320F.

    Phoenix gave a more detailed step by step explanation on the maths.

    His only mistake was a 'typo' at the end.

    Answer: At 360F = 160C should have read

    Answer: At 320F = 160C

    Easily done error and I would  not mark him down on the error since he had already came up with the correct answer.

    For that I would give both an 'A' grade on there answers.
