  1. The eclipse will start at about 9:26 UT in northern Canada and finish at about 11:21 UT in northern China.

UT is Greenwich Mean Time essentially.

    HTH

    Charles

  2. There can be hundreds of answers, because it starts at different time at different location depending upon the moon's position and the shadow starts moving on earth.

  3. UT, Universal Time is the time in Greenwich England. to get Eastern daylight time, one must subtract 4 hours. The eclipse begins at 08:04:06 UTC

This means that it will occur at 4:04:06 AM in New York, it will still be DARK, the sun will not be up in New York.  This eclipse will only be visible from EXTREME NORTHERN CANADA in the North American Continent.
