I'm 14 weeks with my 3rd child. My children are 5 years apart so needless to say I have forgotten how long it takes b4 you feel the little one move. I've felt little flutters and a few small movements the past few days. I know it's not gas..haha! It's a tiny bit below my belly button a couple times and just a few minutes ago one in the middle of my abdomen....just curious as to when little one starts kicking and should I be feeling them now? At what point did you guys feel movement? Thanks!!!

  1. Key points regarding growing baby:

    •  Growth of the baby takes up to 40 weeks.

    •  Pregnancy is divided into three periods or trimesters, each consisting of 3 months.

    •  Formation of heart and lungs; heart starts beating by 22nd day.

    •  During the fifth month the baby sleeps and wakes at regular intervals

    •  At the end of 6 months, the baby is around 12 inches long and weighs about 0.68–0.9 kg.

    •  During the seventh month the baby constantly kicks and stretches its body.

    •  During the eight month lungs may still not be completely developed.

    •  During the ninth month the baby usually drops into a head-down position and rests lower in your abdomen.

  2. most women feel it somewhere between 16-22 weeks..  a more experienced mom will notice it sooner than a first time mom.

I think I noticed movement around 18 weeks...  Im at 22 weeks now.

  3. I felt mine at 18-1/2 weeks..and it feels like gas a lot of the times...but alas no other signs of bubbles after the first feeling!!  I can't wait to feel them again. : )    I think I heard anytime between 14 and 20 weeks is normal.  Mine are usually at the top just below my belly button as well.

  4. around 18 weeks

  5. I felt my boy at 19 weeks.  When pregnant some moms feel the baby moving already as early as in week 13 - 15, while other feel nothing until after week 20. It's both normal. Often first time moms-to-be have to wait longer before they feel the baby, simply because they don't know what it feels like.

A newborn baby can kick right from the start, but usually doesn't start using his legs more consciously until he is a couple of months old. Some babies jumps up and down in your lap when three months old others don't at all at that age.

  6. around 18 weeks... i felt mine at 18 weeks

  7. Each pregnancy is different. Let me think (my baby is now 8 yrs old) I think when I felt my first child move I was around 3 to 4 months pregnant. Then a month or two later others could feel her kick when they touched my stomach.
