  1. DONT EVER TELL YOU KIDS SANTA IS FAKE YOU BAD MOTHER!

  2. What the h**l are you talking about?! You mean to tell me that for the past 27 years I've believed a lie? Then where do all the Christmas gifts come from, smarty? Geez, next you'll be telling me the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny don't exist. I can't believe it! I'm gonna go cry now.

  3. I have always believed and I still do. Santa is in my heart and no one will take that from me.

  4. 12. And yes because my parents were so adamant about him existing and I trusted them. =(

  5. Well, it was all ruined when I was nine. I was asleep on christmas eve in my bedroom, but I heard a noise, thinking it was santa, I woke up. I spot my dad in his pyjamas filling my stocking (we have the on the end of our beds). Upset I was, and i felt even sadder when all the wrapping paper was the same wrapping paper that had been in the cubourd for 5 years. Boohoo.

  6. Within my memory, I always knew.  I was sad because I really wanted to believe.  I wrote letters and the whole bit and really pretended to believe, but I never really did.

  7. 12 =[

But it still doesnt stop me believing just for the fun of it :)

Christmas wouldnt be christmas without believing.

I have a younger brother, so it helps to 'play along' with him, to keep my spirit alive.

    I love christmas :):) x*x

  8. 12. And it was sad, cause it was something exciting about waking my parents up at 3:00 in the morning to open presents (of course they went back to sleep). But still.

  9. i dont remember at what age, but i've felt sad because of that...

  10. I was pretty old, ten, and I heard my mom wrapping all of my Christmas presents on Christmas Eve...yeah, I was pretty dang sad.

  11. I was 5 years old and I was devistated. I didnt understand why I got in trouble when I lied but My parents, that I fully trusted would lie to me. For me finding out the truth was all about trust. And the fact that they broke that trust.

  12. Never because Santa exist.  I was told the truth when I was about 5. the truth to me has always been that the spirit of giving without thought of return is what it is all about.  Your parents in order to teach the lesson of selfless giving repeated the story of the jolly old gent. So at 5years old I happily became Santa too.

When my son was old enough he and I devised a plan; he bought small inexpensive gifts for all his cousins, wrapped them wrote from Santa, and placed under their trees. No one knew it was him. It was one of his best Christmases.

  13. i never knew about Santa until I'm was about 14yrs but when i found out i knew he wasn't real.

  14. I was very young maybe in Kindergarden. It was actually one of my teachers that told me. I felt sad not fooled. Christmas has never been the same.

  15. Ive known basically my whole life. i don't think i ever felt sad

  16. What do you mean?  Of course he exist, in every childs eyes. So I have no idea what you are talking about.

  17. My mom told me at age 10.  I was sad, but I got over it.  I can honestly say that I feel like I had been lied to, but all my life my parents told me it was bad to lie.  So what were they doing?

And don't tell me "Oh, it's just for the kids and it's fun"...well, a lie is a lie no matter how big or small.  Break that trust with your kids and they could possibly not trust you anymore.

My husband and I have decided not to LIE to our kids and tell them that Santa, Easter bunny and Tooth Fairy are real.

Our kids will learn the true meaning of Christmas and Easter and why we Christians celebrate it.

  18. I was in the living room, about eight years old and my mum's friend and her were talking, and her friend just blurted it out randomly right in front of me and her deaf son. She completely forgot that I had perfectly good ears and when she clocked on...she just gave me the most dirtiest smile.

My mum however saw the look as well and they got into a huge fight and never spoke again.
