  1. no where this is london your on about everything costs loads anywhere

  2. You should always try to find local wine marts. In my area there's one that sells nice wines for just GBP 5 (for 2 bottles!) and they also sell beers for GBP 5 for 6 or 8 cans. Shop around and ask the locals!

  3. Wholesalers like Costco and Makro are cheap, but there is membership involved. If not, there are the specialists:

  4. no place in london is cheap

  5. For retail, any large supermarket such as Tesco, Asda or Salisbury's will have a good selection of beer and wine probably at the lowest prices.

  6. I was not aware that there was such a place in London!

Some supermarkets (try big ones like tesco or sainsburys) have offers on packs of beer, and also sell cheap (??) wine, the cheapest being around £2.something a bottle (tastes nasty though).

If you want bulk, you can save a bit of money, and try a wholesale place, (I don't know any addresses, but there is one on Crawford Street, W1).

Due to the massive tax on alcohol here though, really cheap stuff is hard to find.

  7. in 'the local' off licences all wine and champagne is 3 for 2. really good. also boxes from asda are usually good value for money. about 4 bottles in them
