  1. Your comprehensive might cover it. Liability is if you broke someone else's window. I don't see why your employer would cover it unless they caused it.


  2. No, liability won't cover it, and the property owner isn't responsible.

    If you don't have glass or comprehensive coverage on your car window, you have to pay out of pocket for this.

  3. Liability only insurance only covers damange that you are found at fault for (running a red light, etc)  

    Comphrensive (or "other than collision with some companies, or even simply glass coverage) would be the coverage that you would be carrying to cover this.

  4. Most parking lots are park at your own risk.

    Liability will only cover the other person's vehicle in an accident.

    You will need comprehensive coverage on your vehicle to cover an incident of this nature.

    You might as well suck it up and purchase a new window.

    Even if you had comprehensive, a window costs less than most peoples deductible.
