All scripture is given by inspiration of God... Paul wrote to Timothy.

Wasn't it Jesus who set the example for us all to follow? Have I missed something? I know Jesus didn't hug, but He didn't have to hug to show love. I lack the way with words, and tend to come across as a little bit abrupt. That's something that I feel is probably eased by adding hugs.

It signals what my real intent is, and shows my heart.

Actually I think it was Jesus who said something about loving your neighbour (Matthew 22:39).

And since hugs are a way of showing compassion I'd have though He'd be the first to offer a (((hug))).
