  1. now wait just a minute, how do you explain it? you _attribute_ it to god, but you can't _explain_ "life, the universe, and everything" any more than I can. I prefer to say I don't know, rather than god did it. means the same thing as far as I can tell.

  2. Geeze, I thought "Charles Darwin" wrote about the theory of evolution, nowhere does he mention "GOD" created all the various creatures, maybe you are clearly biased with total tunnel vision.

Scientists do not know themselves who or what created the "BIG BANG", but none of them have said, "GOD".

I think it was "ALIENS" or "DR WHO" myself who created the "BIG BANG".

  3. Creatures? that would be evolution. What does the big bang have to do with it?

Evolution does not equal Atheism. I'm a Deist with a B.A. in Anthropology.

  4. Science and Evolution.

  5. Hey Genius, you are aware that you basically implied that something can't come from nothing (creatures) and then implied that something else came from nothing (God).

Explain to me then where God came from.

  6. Evolution.

If you say your god created the big bang, who created your god? If no one created god, then you are slapping yourself.

  7. Explain what you mean by 'miracle of creatures.'  That they are alive?  Well du'h.  Is that a miracle?  No.  If I knew how the big bang happened, I would be a nobel prize winning physicist.  But I guess you want me to say that God made it happen.  Fair enough.  However, creationists do not believe the big bang even happened, even though there is overwhelming evidence that it did.

  8. Last I heard, Creatures were not miracles...  try the biology section of your science book...

  9. Well who created god.

While life is amazing, and hard to understand it is not a miracle.

  10. It is a shame that you cannot read. This has been asked and answered hundreds of times on this very forum. The "miracle of creatures" is not meaningful to anyone but a religionist. Furthermore, your second sentence is a non-sequitur from the first. Look up non-sequitur in the dictionary while looking up atheist. You might just learn something today.

  11. If belief in god depends upon a 6,000 year old creation, then god does not exist. The animals did not just pop into existence, fully formed.

  12. i'm not atheist, but who created god then?

    evolution is the word.

  13. M theory and abiogenesis along with evolution .

Is this what you say happened ?

  14. I don't think creatures are miracles.  Just because you don't understand science doesn't mean god did it.

  15. Evolution....

  16. I'm not a genius on the universe, nor a scientist, and I can't go back in time. But it certainly wasn't a magic fairy man in the sky that's for sure! Sorry, but that idea is just too absurd.

  17. you dont even know what your talking about do you?

the big bang was an expansion of space-time.  as to what caused the expansion?  i'm not going to pretend to know so i wont hazard a guess.  unlike you i dont substitute the unknown for another unknown and call it an answer.

you say god created everything?  tell me how god created everything.

  18. I'm a former agnostic. I just figured God was a superstition, as many Christian's do as well. As far as creatures and the big bang, I don't think will ever be physical proof for a big bang, but the Bible says that Jesus is God and He is physically coming back to prove everything. So either you take the risk that nothing created everything or believe that the bible is really telling the truth. Both require great faith.

  19. What is the miracle of creatures?

Creatures evolved from other creatures and mutations that were favored through the process of natural selection.

I don't know who created the big bang.  I don't even know if it was "created."

Who created your god?  If you can have one exception (something that was not "created"), why can't you have more exceptions?

  20. I am a Christian, but I see where atheists' opinions come from, and understand and respect their beliefs. Science's theories always made sense to me. I always saw it was all behind God's power.

  21. One word: evolution.

  22. creatures are a miracle?

    The big bang created creatures?

    lol

I think you need to put the bible down and read some factual science books before trying to "attempt" to debate on creation.

  23. true, atheists have no reason to creation, and other things

(I know ill get thumbs down, but if thats the best they can do then...)

    EDIT:

And, no-one created God, because he was always there.

  24. Just because something is amazing doesn't mean that a magical being "created" it.

How would you explain the "miracle" that would be God if nothing "created" God?

  25. There is no "miracle of creatures", and who created god? If everything has to have a beginning then god must also have one.

  26. Atheists lack belief in gods.

There is no reason to think that this naturalistic universe requires a supernatural builder.

I don't think creatures require miraculous intervention in order to be interesting and complex.

The Big Bang is likely, as shown by cosmic background radiation. It isn't a matter of preference. I support people using their brains to discover how our existence works. Have a problem with that? The stone age wants you back.

  27. Argument from Incredulity is an informal logical fallacy where a participant draws a positive conclusion from an inability to imagine or believe the converse. The most general structure of this argument runs something like the following:

       1. I can't imagine how P could possibly be false

       2. Therefore, P.

A simple variation on this is

       1. I cannot imagine how P could possibly be true

       2. Therefore, not-P.

This is a fallacy because someone else with more imagination may find a way. This fallacy is therefore a simple variation of argument from ignorance. In areas such as science and technology, where new discoveries and inventions are always being made, new findings may arise at any time.

    ----

Next, you bear the Burden Of Proof for your factless claims of:

    1) Life is a miracle that demands a creator.

    2) The Big Bang required a being to start it.

Since you offer AbZero objective evidence for either claim, your claims bear the same amount of credibility: AbZero.

    Your grade: F-

  28. Well I can't if you insist on calling them "miracles."

They're the product of natural selection.

I don't know what created the big bang. But it's lazy to say God did it.

  29. Atheism doesn't say God doesn't exist..Only that religion is a concept that is flawed. What is a God? Why do we as people in a world of imperfect perceptions have to accept a version of what is just a man-made version of what mankind has created to make themselves a God-like creature. A spirit being is not anthropormorphic and never the long white bearded old guy on the throne. God is the spirit that has always been. We in fact have always been. We are spirit beings also and are living in linear time only to understand reality in real time. Real time doesn't exist. Everything is happening all at once!

  30. I did it.

Seriously, I did all of it.

What? I'm right here telling you the simple truth and you'd rather believe an old badly translated self-contradictory collation of badly translated older story books?

Man you Christian fundy types have an odd sense of what is believable

  31. What's supernatural about creatures?

    Evolution.
