No, I do not.  When I was a little kid I believed in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the tooth fairy and I really enjoyed fairy tales.  But then as I got older I began to see the fantasy in all of these.

By the time I was old enough for high school I began searching for answers.  But in order for an answer to be acceptable, it had to be believable as well.  That is when I quickly began to lose my faith.  Suddenly all the stuff that was being preached to us seemed unreasonable and the bible became a large collection of fairy tales.

Even though I don't believe in the ten commandments, I abide by every one of them because as a conscientious and reasonable person that is my nature.

No. I think we have a conscience, but a lot of people confuse the 2. To believe in a soul would mean there would have to be someone running the factory to guide them, which isnt possible.

I do not believe in souls, since there is no evidence for the existence of souls.

I do believe in spirits. There are several in my liquor cabinet.

I heard a quote, forgot who said it but- "You do not have a soul. You are a soul- you have a body" That makes sense to me.

Here's how I see it. Let's say we DID have souls/spirits. IMHO the soul would be a finite energy body, perhaps the electrical energy that runs through our nervous system. However the idea of infinite power source seems impossible to me. Natural organisms with the supernatural seems like a contradiction to me.

The definition of atheism is lack of belief in a god or gods. Atheists can be spiritual. Different reliigons have different stories of souls.
