If you look into the Old Testament, yes, full of wrath and evil unto men.  It's funny how people try to put a human face onto God, especially since in the Classical Age the Greeks, Romans and Persians all did the same with their Gods, but they were a lot more tolerant than their modern day monotheistic counterparts...with the exception of Judaism

it would probably be the other way around.that God's believers are like him. and if they are they are doing their job as christians they should try every day to be just like him.

Absolutley...Think about it. you had a bunch of old men over hundreds of years who had visions,, got drunk what ever and wrote the bible.  Ahh it is the inspired word of god..  it was the inspired word of a bunch of ole crusty men.. it doesn't make sense, it was written in three different languages and we cannot even accurately translate Spanish.  what the heck do you think.. we create god in our own image.
