The A with the circle, the walking fish, etc??

What symbol do you think is best? Which, by its graphic alone, makes its meaning the clearest?

A few more religious symbols would make it even clearer..

  4. Why do we need a symbol?  We're not organized or a cohesive group.  Atheism is different for each atheist - I think it should stay that way.  I don't want to be represented by a symbol that someone else thought up.

  5. I 2nd for the picture of a human brain.  That's what makes us atheists.

  6. The walking fish is cute, but it's meant to be more humorous than anything. I thought the A with the circles around it was the official symbol...?

First poster (sorry, I have no clue what your name is): I think he means this A with the circle, not the anarchy one:

  8. What is the best symbol for reality?

  9. A picture of a brain.

  10. I think =

    Yep that's what I think

  11. dude the a with the circle is for ANARCHY (aka, liberal socialism, nothing scary, we're nice people) - I'm an atheist too, but don't be stealing our anarchy symbol...

    :D

Danielle: oh, thanx, I've never seen that one...it's still a bit too similar to the anarchy one though isn't it? I like the one of the stickman throwing religious symbols in the bin :)

  12. Skull & Bones!

  13. I vote for a great big zero, representing the number of gods that exist.

  14. a library

  15. Broken 'hand'-cuffs exiting a cranium.

    ~

  16. Err.. um... a vacuum

Now, shall we suggest a symbol for agnostics? Like halfway between a vacuum and a vessel of air?

  17. It doesn't need a symbol.

  18. "0"

  19. A lemming.
