Athens or sicily for 4 nts in march?

Hi we cant decide we want a cheap but nice few days away seeing historical sites? which woul be people suggets has anyone been to both?

Have never been to Sicily, but you can't beat Athens for history. I had two fortnights there, when my daughter was doing her Classical Civilisations "A" levels, and there's never enough time to see everything. Try to go over a weekend, all the historical sites are free on Sundays.

i don't know much about Sicily, but i think you would enjoy Athens very much, so much to see, oh all i can say is go there, i think you will love the place.. enjoy...the Acropolis and the flea market loads of bargins to be picked up there... Athens is a great place...

We have not but we are going to Athens for 5 days in February. I want to get to Sicily someday too though.

for historical sites athens, no doubt.

Due to normal weather conditions and things to see and do at this time of year, you are better off opting for Athens. But remember, Athens, like all other Capitals, is not the real country.
