hi guys. for those who know a lot about sports, weightlifting and strength training, i need some help here. would really appreciate it. im new. this is the question. what do u think of a man who weighs 170lbs/77kg and benchpress 156lbs/71kg 25 times in a row. dont compare this with all the huge bodybuilders or hardcore powerlifters. of course they can do more if they're way bigger than me. im asking your opinions on the achievement of benching 156lbs/71kg 25 times in a row for a man who weighs 170lbs/77kg. what do u think? and thats my fist time benching. only did various styles of push up before. so what do u think of it? a 170lbs/77kg man benching 156lbs/71kg 25 times in a row. n how much do u think i can max out? one rep max. thanks.

  1. U Freak

  2. i like sports

    it depends on you

    but increase step by step

  3. If you are doing 25 reps  you are basically doing a push up body weight.

that would possibly be about 60% of your max weight.

So possibly if you did a warm up set of 10 at 80 kg then a work set of up to 6 reps   at 120kg & see if you could get the 6 out.

Make sure you have an experienced spotter tho if you are doing heavy  weights and that you have them watching your form.

  4. Im 80kg, was under 70kg before starting strength training 20 weeks ago. I can only do 67 1/2kg 5x5 (not including bar and clamps). Sounds like u r one strong mother. But then again im a weak bi..tch at bench. 105kg?

  5. Well i would try 85kg and see how many you can do there Ifyou can do that do 90kg and just keep on going up by 5kg good luck :)

  6. Why don't you cool off somewhere where there is no internet connection. Reported.
