The Argentine coach was deeply disappointed at not getting the support of Los Leones hierarchy as they distanced themselves from him in his scandal with a construction company.

The Argentine coach did not approve of the manner he was treated by the club’s authorities in the media and revealed that he has no qualms at resigning from his managerial position.
Bielsa made news after being involved in a physical altercation with construction workers who are currently involved in improving the conditions of Los Leones training facilities at their Lezama base.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chile-c2871 national team coach was unimpressed with the delay in work by the company in charge, and decided to take the matter in his own hand, which eventually resulted in a brawl with the construction site’s manager.
While Bielsa came out in the open and explained his actions in the media that put the blame solely on the construction company in question, Athletic Bilbao gave a swift response in the media that distanced them from the remarks made by the manager.
It has been reported that the coach and his staff were not pleased with the actions of Bilbao administration and were pondering about resigning from their duties.
“With regard to the statements made on 5 July, Marcelo Bielsa, relating to works taking place on the premises of Lezama, the Board of the Athletic Club expressed as follows:

B. - The Athletic Club aims to show the correct performance of contract work performed to date, so publicly apologized for the damage that statements by an employee of the Athletic Club have been incurred by the construction company and its workers.
C. - The responsibility for the control and execution of the works these days are made in Lezama belong exclusively to the Athletic Club, an organization that has qualified professionals with sufficient technical criteria for assessing these constructive tasks and whose opinion is expressed and always manifest through partners and the media that the basic criteria of organization and recommend common sense.”
