With issues pertaining as to how the Javi Martinez transfer took place, Athletic Bilbao president, Josu Urrutia, may take legal action against Bayern Munich.
After playing 40 million Euros to the Spanish La Liga team, Bayern Munich were finally able to purchase the Spanish defender last week, near the closing of the transfer window. However, the Basque defender went through a medical examination without the permission
of his club.
Athletic Bilbao are arguing that since the young Spaniard was bound by his contract with Bilbao during the time that he took the medical at Bayern Munich, they have valid grounds to take legal action against the German club.
“The player was under contract, during the protection period established by FIFA. The player underwent a medical with the German club without Athletic’s permission. Whether we can or should denounce Bayern in being considered,” said Josu Urrutia.
The young Spanish national was in a lot of demand during the transfer season, and was sold out to the German giants after Manchester United, Manchester City, and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 all showed interest.

The negotiations took place over the course of several weeks over the summer, and Bayern were complaining about Athletic’s stubbornness.
Bayern's coach, Jupp Heynckes, stated, “When you understand the Basque soul, you know why it has taken so long.”
After signing a five-year contract and costing €40 million, Martinez has become the most expensive player in the history of the Bundesliga.
However, he is not going to allow this record-breaking transfer put him under pressure.
The young Spaniard states that he will prove to the league that he was worth every penny and will help his side win the league.
