Ati card in nvidia mobo performance gain or loss?

heres the problem... im building a new pc. i wanted an intel q9300 evga 780i/790i ultra evga gtx280. ati came out with the 4780x2 smokin card if i get the intel ill still go with an nvidia board now will i get a performance gain or loss by doing that or would it be better to go with an amd proc an amd motherboard? if i should keep it all amd/ati what is the best motherboard for the 4780x2 and phenom x4 9950

  1. You would loose performance. Companies make products which run more efficiently with their own products. Cause the coding and everything will be the same.


  2. The only adverse affect would be that you couldn't use crossfire. But my advice would be to wait until the Gtx350 comes out.

  3. Just go with a P45 or an x48 motherboard...
