Atlanta Falcons performance analysis till Week 7 – NFL Special Part 1
In this edition, we will review the games played by Atlanta Falcons in the first seven weeks of the season.
It could not get any better for Falcons as they entered their bye in Week 7 after finishing the first six weeks with a perfect record.
Falcons are 6-0 and are the only remaining team in the National Football league to have an unbeaten record. This is the best ever-start in the history of the franchise.
Week 1: Kansas City Chiefs
The revamped offence showed what it is capable of as Falcons put up an astounding performance to beat Kansas City Chiefs 40-24.
Even though the game was looking interesting in the first half, Falcons defence managed to keep a tight control on the Chiefs offence to produce a dominating second half performance.
Quarterback Matt Ryan started the season in a way he had ended the last season. Last season, Ryan broke the franchise record for most passing yards in a season with 4,177 yards.
Looking at his performance in this game it looked as if he was ready to break it again. He finished with 23 of 31 for 299 yards and three touchdowns.
Week 2: Denver Broncos
It was big victory for Falcons as they beat Denver Broncos 27-21, thanks to superb performance by the defensive team.
Falcons defence was on top of the game as they managed to keep Broncos elite quarterback Peyton Manning from showing his skills. Manning was intercepted three times during the game.
Ryan got 100th touchdown of his career. He completed 24 out of 36 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns.
Wide receiver Roddy White had an outstanding game. He received eight passes for 102 yards and scored a touchdown.
Week 3: San Diego Chargers
