  1. Atlanta. Take a look at vegas behind the strip.

  2. I have been to both of them. But I wouldn't want to raise kids at either place. They are fun places to visit, but not places to raise kids.

  3. I'm Atlantan born and raised and I love it here! There are amazing suburbs with great schools, (Lakeside High is nationally ranked) and there are plenty of cultural and educational opportunities for any age. Look at the North Atlanta suburbs, like Briarcliff, Dunwoody, or Decatur.

  4. This question seems kind of a no brainer... Atlanta.  It's not just a big city of sin and partying, and there are way better schools in Atlanta.

  5. Las Vegas (in my opinion) is nothing , but a party town and not a place to raise kids. Its a nice place to visit, but that's it ( no offense to the people who live there). I have an aunt who lives there and she is 20 yrs old and says she likes it, but its not really a place to raise a family.

I live in atlanta(currently a high school sophomore) and its seems like a better place, but I suggest that you be careful with the schools. I attend a South Fulton County high school and it is horrible. The teachers, the students, just everything. I highly suggest Douglas or Fayette County because I have attended schools in both. I prefer  Douglas County most because it has a diverse school system and just basically it is a really great school :-).

Also I found a website that offer school reviews called:

    greatschools.net

to help you out with your school search whether it be atlanta, las vegas or somewhere else

    Hope this helps

  6. Atlanta is a great place live with Kids.  I live just North of Atlanta.  I recommend one of the Atlanta Suburbs like Alpharetta, Kennesaw or Woodstock.

  7. Atlanta for so many reasons.

Think about it Six Flags or Casinos

In Atlanta there's the world of coke, an aquarium, sightseeing, six flags, white waters and so much more!

  8. I lived in Las Vegas for 9 years with teens and it was the worst thing I ever did- the schools are terrible and there is a lot of gang activity and drugs, There is almost nothing for kids to do there and they are bored and get into trouble... believe me, I KNOW! (and they were so good before) Anyway, we all moved to Nashville, TN 7 years ago now that they are adults and I have 3 grandkids... Atlanta is 4 hours away. Although I think Nashville is a better choice, between LV and Atlanta, absolutely go with Atlanta! The South is fabulous and beautiful and there is SO much to do and see! Good Luck to you!

  9. Henderson, NV would be the place you would most likely be living if you moved to Vegas. My uncle's family lived there for several years and never had any problems with their kids getting into trouble or anything like that. There's tons of nice suburbs around Atlanta, too. I have an Aunt up there and her kid has been in more trouble than I can count, but I suspect that largely has to do with how someone raises a person...bottom line, if your kids want to get in trouble in either places, they can find it easily. If you move to Atlanta get ready to sit in traffic. A lot. Seriously, like half of your life will be in your car.

  10. Atlanta baby!

  11. Atlanta

  12. Altanta!

I haven't been to Vegas but it doesn't exactly strike me as a better place to bring up your kids!

  13. Atlanta is far much better then Las Vegas.  Las Vegas is nothing but a party, strip type of town
