Atlantic Forest Info Anyone?

I am writing a story about the Atlantic forest and I need to know somethings.

1- The flora and fauna of the atlantic forest.

2- Where the forest still is today

It was in 17 states of Brazil...from Rio Grande do Sul to Rio Grande do Norte. There is only 8% of the original Atlantic Forest today, mostly in Paraná, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais state.

It´s very humidy and extremelly beautiful.

The fauna and flora are very diverse in the Atlantic Forest.

There are 454 species of threes in the the the southern part of the state of Bahia alone.

Animals: approx. 1.600.000 especies, including insects

mammals, birds, reptiles e anfibious: 1361 especies, 567 in danger

2 % of all especies in the planet just for the above mentioned group of animalsd

The area it covers today is approximately 95.000 Km2
